Caring Action is a DONATIONS website to facilitate on line donations to many of the service projects and charity trust projects in the UK, and around the world undertaken by Lions Clubs International.
Preserving Sight
Since 1990, Lions SightFirst programme has been making quality eye care accessible to those who most need it. SightFirst has made it possible for more than 30 million people to have improved or restored vision. Lions have also particularly in the area of preventable blindness.
Youth Development
Over the past 25 years, thousands of young people have benefited through the Lions-Tacade initiatives, our youth development programme for primary and senior schools
Providing Disaster Relief
In times of disaster, Lions meet immediate needs such as food, water and shelter with funds from our local Lions Clubs and from Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)
For larger-scale disasters, the Foundation remains committed to helping communities rebuild into the future.
Humanitarian Efforts
Lions are active in a variety of humanitarian efforts such as supporting the construction homes for the disabled, providing vision screenings to Special Olympics athletes and combating measles
